Chipton-Ross is seeking Material Handler for a contract opportunity in Cleveland, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
- Able to complete documentation legibly and per procedure.
- Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
- Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).- Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
.- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift above the shoulder
.- Basic mathematical skills and computer skills required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform manufacturing processes for the production of plastic pour bottles.
- Perform and document line clearances.
- Verify correctness of material
.- Load empty gaylords on production line to be filled with plastic pour bottles.
- Pack plastic pour bottles into empty gaylords, cover and ensure proper labeling of product.
- Inspect bottle and gasket assembly.
- Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises.
- Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or
discrepancy issues occur .- Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.

- High school diploma required. Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time-1st Shift- 07:00am-03:00pm
Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
