Chipton-Ross is seeking a Operator III Molding for a contract opportunity in Cleveland, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
- Able to complete documentation legibly.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with all requirements regarding safety and quality compliance and regulations.
- Perform production inspections and document results while monitoring part output and part
quality from molding machines.- Weigh count production, pack parts, and accurately label the production.
- Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision.
- Responsible for accurate documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices on production and
quality records, cleaning forms, batch folder, etc.- Participate in and complete all required training.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
- Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).- Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or
discrepancy issues occur.- Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Trained as forklift driver preferred.
- Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds.
- In a Class I Controlled Environment which includes the following dress/gowning requirements:
safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning).- Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise.
- Involves working around equipment, machinery and belts.
- Requires occasionally working with chemical cleaners and disinfectants.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time-3rd Shift- 11:00am-07:00pm
- Low absenteeism.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
