Chipton-Ross is seeking a Military Operations Analyst for a contract opportunity in MacDill AFB, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Systems Proficiency: Expert-level familiarity with the

KIK-11/KIK-20/KIK-30 (Simple Key Loader - SKL), Automated Information System (AIS) tracking databases, and DoD IT ticketing platforms (Remedy/vESD).

  • Experience: 5+ years of military or DoD contractor experience in communications management, network operations, or secure systems administration.
  • Certifications: Must meet DoD 8577.01-M / DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II minimum requirements (e.g., Comp TIA

Security+ CE).

  • Must possess or complete the Cryptographic Representative

Officer (CRO) certification course within 30 days of hire.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with Base Communications Squadrons (BCS) and Enterprise Service
  • Desks for the provisioning, installation, and troubleshooting of NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS accounts, workstations, and network drops.
  • Manage the operational readiness of land mobile radios (LMRs), tactical satellite systems (TACSAT), and ultra-high frequency (UHF/VHF) radios.
  • Coordinate field-level maintenance and testing.
  • Serve as the Unit Cryptographic Security (COMSEC) Responsible Officer (CRO).
  • Coordinate the receipt, distribution, physical safeguarding, destruction, and loading of cryptographic keying material (KYK-13, SKL).
  • Direct the IT Asset Management (ITAM) program. Maintain 100% accountability for all communications electronics (CE) assets, server racks, user endpoints, and secure peripherals.
  • Partner with cybersecurity personnel to identify network vulnerabilities, verify compliance with Information • Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), and assist with cybersecurity mitigation strategies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military communications experience (e.g., USAF

3D/1D7, Army 25-Series, Navy IT).
